Creative DIY Save-the-Dates

Your Save the Date should give a glimpse to your guests of what fun awaits them at your wedding.  Save the Dates are highly recommended if your wedding date falls around a holiday when your guests would be making plans for far in advance or if you have a lot of out of town family and friends who should plan for their travel early on.  Mail these out 6-12 months prior to your wedding, but double-check before they are sent that you have finalized your guest list, because it would be poor etiquette, to say the least, if anyone receives a Save the Date from you that is not followed up by a formal invite.  Check out these creative DIY Save the Dates that step outside of the box.  Find the examples below, plus more at www.theknot.com  and  www.marthastewartweddings.com.
